Two pieces of me – workshop for youth and adults, in English
Leading: Barbara Grabiarz
During workshop we encourage you to establish a dialogue between the two self representations – one representing a voice from the past and the other from the present. As a result, the TWO PIECES OF ME self-portrait will come into existence.
Participants are requested to bring two photographs (could be print out) of yourself: one from the past and one that is more recent.
Barbara Grabiarz – studied Fashion Design before immigrating to the United States in 2002. Grabiarz studied at the famed Art Students League of New York for five years, where she focused her energy on figure drawing and combined media. Grabiarz also earned a BA in Fine Art from School of Visual Arts (SVA) in New York City. As a student at SVA, Grabiarz concentrated her focus on the creation of soft sculptures as well as digital embroidery.
