Yes, You Can!
A project which provides information on how to support cultural activities, in particular those undertaken by organizations working for the benefit of disadvantaged groups.
The objective of this international project of the National Museum of Krakow is to exchange good fundraising practices and supplement the knowledge in this field in the context of the new financial perspective adopted by the European Union and to make it available to relevant organizations active in the cultural sector.
The European Union designated 2013 as the ‘European Year of Citizens’. That is why the project is aimed mainly at small cultural organizations throughout Europe, with a view to improving their methods of management and operation by providing know-how about the sources of funding of cultural and social projects.
Our plan includes:
As part of the project, the partners will carry out studies of the needs of local organizations with regard to the funding of their statutory work and the identify the available fundraising sources for the years 2014-2020 in the countries covered by the project, i.e. France, Holland, Germany, Slovakia, Poland, Turkey.
The ‘Practical Guide to Funds for Culture’ will contain information about national and international funds, including contact details and practical instructions.
The project is implemented by the Fundraising Team of the National Museum in Krakow: Lidia Kozieł-Siudut and Joanna Niewidok.
