First Meeting of the Project "Yes You Can!" in Krakow
The main objective of the first project meeting was to update the project schedule, which required verification due to a reduction in the number of project consortium members.
The meeting addressed key issues: the objectives, methods of work, activities and the responsibilities of each partner.
A new work plan was developed to include the current dates and places of project meetings and obligations of the partners.
We agreed that the first step in the analysis of the source of funding of the cultural sector should involve the definition of project target groups by carrying out a survey using the following three questions:
Another important subject of the meeting was the communications and promotion of the project. It was decided that Google Drive, the common e-mailing base using Google Groups, will be the best platform for communications.
Promotion of the project and dissemination of its results will be carried out through the project website and the partners’ web pages, press releases, newsletters, and leaflets about the project.
Administrative issues were also discussed at the meeting.
The practical part of the meeting was dedicated to the presentations of the partners and their experiences in fundraising. The participants also had an opportunity to learn – based on two non-governmental organizations, "Kobieta w regionie" and PLinEU – how such organizations secure funding for activities undertaken for the benefit of local communities.
The project "Yes, You Can!" is implemented with the financial support of the European Commission.

We agreed that the first step in the analysis of the source of funding of the cultural sector should involve the definition of project target groups by carrying out a survey using the following three questions:
- What kind of organizations we would like to work with?
- -What are their needs? What kind of information will be useful to them?
- How do these organizations work for the benefit of disadvantaged groups?
- The division of these organizations in terms of their potential, into local, national and international organizations.
