The Stanisław Wyspiański Museum, a branch of the National Museum in Krakow, is located in the Old Granary, a building erected in the 18th century, which over the years has served as a granary, factory, shop, and headquarters of the Association of Polish Architects.

The Prints and Drawings Room of the Czartoryski Museum presents a new set of prints from the collection. This time it is a small exhibition illustrating the formation of Christian monasticism. Within its framework, we present works by artists such as Albrecht Dürer, Jacques Callot, Pieter Bruegel the Elder, Hieronymus Cock, Benedetto Montagna and Herman van Swanevelt.

The National Museum in Krakow presents in the Józef Czapski Pavilion the early works of the Kapists – members of the group formed in 1923 around Józef Pankiewicz, professor of the Krakow Academy of Fine Arts. The influence of the French masters Cézanne and Bonnard is clearly visible in them.

On this occasion, we invite you to a small commemorative and anniversary exhibition in the “Malarnia” room in the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice). We want to recall the history of the creation of the first national museum institution in the Polish lands under partition.
