  ROYAL PORTRAITS - VASES

  The Cabinet of Drawings and Engravings of the Princes Czartoryski Museum presents assorted engravings from the collection with  images of successive electoral kings of Poland from the Vasa dynasty. The portraits on display are works by prominent Dutch artists of the 16th to 17th centuries.

  XX + XXI. Polish Art Gallery

  XX + XXI. Polish Art Gallery in the Main Building of the National Museum in Kraków gives visitors an opportunity to learn about the panorama of the history of Polish art of this period. The exhibition presents a cross-section of selected phenomena, trends and art movements through outstanding works from the Museum’s collection of contemporary art.

  The Origins. Ancient art gallery

  The aim of the permanent exhibition of ancient art from the collections of the National Museum in Kraków, located on the 1st floor in the Arsenal of the Princes Czartoryski Museum, is to show a full picture of the art of ancient cultures. The core of the exhibition is a collection acquired by Prince Władysław Czartoryski in the second half of the 19th century.

  Wyspiański. Treasures from Lviv

  The Boris Voznitsky Lviv National Art Gallery in Lviv holds an extraordinary collection of works by Stanisław Wyspiański, including four pastel portraits from the years 1893–1894 as well as sixty four loose sketches and drawing studies.

  ONNA – Beauty, Strength, Ecstasy

  The exhibition which is an exceptional presentation of the subject of the Japanese woman features images and impressions from her life, both in paintings and woodblock prints. They show the unique secrets of the Floating World (Jap. ukiyo), the secrets of intimate scenes.

Images of Women in Japanese Painting and Woodblock prints

It is the first time in the history of Polish exhibitions that we are presenting impressions from the world of a Japanese woman whose images, immortalised in paintings and woodblock prints, reveal some secrets of the Floating World, including intimate scenes behind the screen.

Twilights

  Art Now

  'Art Now' is a joint project of SZLACHETNA PACZKA (Noble Box) charity and the National Museum in Krakow. Come and visit our exhibition in the Main Building where we present 143 works submitted to this project. Proceeds from their sale will be used to support families in need.
