As he recalled, "It was a beautiful present for my birthday. Marley was standing there out of breath, surrounded by his backup singers, and we were all keyed up. He treated us so kindly, said we were partners. He knew where we were coming from.” Another telling story was told by Michal Wilczynski, founder of music publisher Gad Records: “The technicians carrying Marley’s equipment off the stage after his concert wanted to take Józef’s Polymoog by mistake because it was in an identical case. They were very surprised that someone in Europe already had a Polymoog (!), that it was a band from Poland (!!!), and was performing after Bob Marley (!!!)” Józef Skrzek added, “For this concert in Denmark I smuggled our guitarist Antymos Apostolis, who had no passport, across the border in my car. He crossed with the papers of an SBB technician nicknamed Hindu, who looked like him. For Marley, it was worth the risk.”
