Sejm prints

Once again, the Emeryk Hutten Czapski Museum presents the exhibition titled Ye Who Rule the Commonwealth. The Polish Sejm in the Old Prints from the Collection of Emeryk Hutten-Czapski – a display of Sejm prints dating back to the period from the early 16th century to the end of the 18th century.

  Pilgrims, Travellers, Tourists – Exploring the World

  The exhibition titled Pilgrims, Travellers, Tourists – Exploring the World. From the NMK Collection of Old Prints and Maps presents a selection of 60 works dating back to the period from the 15th to the 19th century and devoted to travels, which we learn about through memoirs and literature related to historiography and geography. The old volumes are accompanied by 19 antique maps and atlases.

  WE DIFFER IN FAITH

  WE DIFFER IN FAITH. PROOFS OF MULTI-RELIGIOUS COEXISTENCE IN THE FIRST POLISH REPUBLIC IN OLD PRINTS FROM THE COLLECTION OF THE NATIONAL MUSEUM IN KRAKOW.
  The exhibition presented rare religious prints and old maps of the area of the First Polish Republic.

Military old prints in the NMK collections

Priceless copies of old prints and cartographic objects from the NMK collections can be admired in the Czapski Palace. The items are exhibited in the 19th-century private library – one of the few preserved fully equipped rooms of this type.

  Bloody Mars. Military old prints in the collections of the National Museum in Krakow

  The exhibition includes more than 80 objects created from the sixteenth to the eighteenth century, selected from the collection of approximately 36,000 old prints and cartographic objects located in the National Museum in Krakow. The priceless items are exhibited in the Czapski Palace, in the nineteenth-century private library being one of the few libraries preserved with all the equipment.
