On 17 April the ICE Krakow Congress Centre held a conference for school headmasters titled NEW PERSPECTIVES. Museum as Part of School Education. Twenty-one Krakow museums prepared a joint presentation of their educational offer.

  A display of ciborium by Giovanni Maria Padovano

  For the first time in 368 years, the interiors of the Bishop Erazm Ciołek Palace present the combined elements of the Renaissance sacrarium from the Wawel Cathedral. Commissioned by Bishop Piotr Tomicki in the 1530s, it was made from red Hungarian marble by a famous Italian sculptor Giovanni Maria Mosca, known as Padovano. The exhibition will be open until 24 May.

  Zygmunt Radnicki (1894-1969)

  Zygmunt Radnicki was one of the youngest representatives of the generation of artists who formed modern art in Poland. The works of this outstanding painter from the years 1913-1969 are presented at the exhibitions in the Main Building of the National Museum in Krakow and in the newly opened Gallery of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, which are jointly organized by the two institutions.
