  The Power of the Avant-Garde

  The exhibition The Power of the Avant-Garde features works which have not been shown to the Polish public before, works by great artists, regarded already as classics in art history, such as Fernand Léger, Edvard Munch, Kazimir Malevich, Piet Mondrian and Alexander Archipenko. Works produced in the first decades of the 20th century are accompanied by the contemporary ones, dialoguing with historical objects.

Guests at the Hungarian Art Exhibition

On 8 December, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland – Beata Szydło, and the Prime Minister of Hungary – Viktor Orban visited the exhibition 'Golden Age of Hungarian Painting' at the National Museum in Krakow.

  Art Now

  'Art Now' is a joint project of SZLACHETNA PACZKA (Noble Box) charity and the National Museum in Krakow. Come and visit our exhibition in the Main Building where we present 143 works submitted to this project. Proceeds from their sale will be used to support families in need.

  The Formists

  The exhibition, organised by the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland in conjunction with the National Museum in Krakow, will be held in the foyer leading to the Chapel in the Presidential Palace. In keeping with the religious character of its location, the exhibition will focus on the sacral art of the Formists, an artistic group established in Krakow in 1917 by Tytus Czyżewski and the brothers Andrzej and Zbigniew Pronaszko.
