The NMK's cooperation with the Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava has resulted in the first Polish exhibition of priceless paintings and sculptures from Slovak collections."Treasures of the Baroque" exhibition will be complemented by exhibits from Hungary, Ukraine and – of course – Poland. We will present works by the most prominent artists of that period active in this part of Europe, such as Ján Kupecký or Franz Xaver Messerschmidt.
The exhibition will also feature Baroque peculiarities such as posthumous portraits or still lifes rendered with photographic precision.
