"Painting Installation" by Leon Tarasewicz, one of the most intriguing contemporary Polish artists, is a joint project of the National Museum in Krakow and Nowa Przestrzeń Sztuki [New Art Space] Foundation. The installation covers an area of 200 square metres and contains an unusual maze consisting of several rows of columns with colourful stripes, reflected in mirrors. Entering the maze is like entering a painting. One gets the impression that the painting continues ad infinitum, affecting all our senses with its colours. It is a magical space inspired by nature interwoven into the cityscape.
