Gallery of polish painting from the collection of the NMK on display in the Presidential Palace

• The Gallery of Polish Painting in the Presidential Palace, prepared by the National Museum in Krakow and opened on 9 January 2015 by the President of the Republic of Poland and the First Lady, presents the works of over twenty most prominent Polish painters such as Józef Chełmoński, Aleksander Gierymski, Stanisław Witkiewicz, Józef Czapski and Stanisław Wyspiański. The Presidential Palace – the official residence of the President of the Republic of Poland– constitutes and important venue for the promotion of Polish art. The elegant halls of the Palace offer a display of Polish painting from state and private collections. The paintings from the National Museum in Krakow, complemented by five other works on loan, are on display from 10 January 2015 till June 2016
