Concert in Atma's garden

• At noon of Saturday, 3 October, in beautiful sunny weather, the garden of 'Atma' hosted a concert of CORda CRACOVIA orchestra on the occasion of the 133th anniversary of Karol Szymanowski's birth. The programme featured pieces by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Mieczysław Karłowicz and Karol Szymanowski.
  
  In the evening, 'Atma' offered a piano recital by Piotr Różański. Apart from Mazurkas and Piano Sonata No. 3 by Szymanowski, he also played compositions by John Corigliano and Jean Sibelius. As usual, the concerts were accompanied by a commentary provided by Małgorzata Janicka-Słysz – the programme curator at 'Atma'. As part of the series Autumnal Musical Encounters in 'Atma', Sunday, 4 October, saw the performances by Krzysztof Lasoń (violin) and Michał Sadzikowski (piano). In addition to Szymanowski's music, their repertoire featured a Sonata by George Enescu.
