Unsound Festival 2016 at the NMK
As part of the Unsound Festival 2016, we'd like to invite you to Mediateka in the Sukiennice for a presentation titled 'Sam Kidel's Sound Installation'.
Sam Kidel's 'Disruptive Muzak' is one of the most original ambient albums created in recent years, a playful subversion of muzak – also known as "musical wallpaper". Kidel prepared a new version of his project in form of an installation especially for Unsound. Visitors will have an opportunity to hear live phone calls made by an automatic call centre which will be put through to the HMRC (the British tax office).
The installation will be on display during the opening hours of the Gallery of 19th-Century Polish Art in the Sukiennice.
