Open Days in the Jozef Czapski Pavilion
We invite you to Open Days in the Jozef Czapski Pavilion on 23rd-26th April (from Saturday to Tuesday). During the weekend we would like to invite individual guests mainly, but on Monday and Tuesday we are open for school groups.
All events are free of charge! The Jozef Czapski Pavilion and the Emeryk Hutten-Czapski Museum nearby will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
WEEKEND FOR INDIVIDUAL VISITORS
- 23rd April, Saturday
Free guided tours: every hour from 10.15 a.m. to 5 p.m. Earlier signing up is not required but because of limited number of participants, tours are organised only in groups of 20 individuals each.
Guided tours schedule: 10.15, 11.00, 13.00, 14.00, 15.00, 16.00, 17.00
After the tour a guide will lead a group to the temporary exhibition in the Pavilion. Groups awaiting their turn can see the permanent exhibition in Emeryk Hutten-Czapski Museum.
Exceptionally at noon the Czapski Pavilion will take part in the Free Art Day, so none of the tours will be available.
Noon – Free Art Day
This year in National Museum in Krakow the Free Art Day will be celebrated at the Jozef Czapski Pavilion. As a part of the activities visitors will be encouraged to conscious, peaceful object viewing. Selected objects will be described by volunteers. At 1.00 p.m. guests will be invited for unconstrained meeting in the cafeteria or the multimedia room where they could share their experiences and opinions with one another. - 24th April, Sunday
On Sunday we invite you to free entrance guided tours – every hour from 10.15 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Guided tours schedule: a.m.: 10.15, 11.00, 12.00, p.m.: 1.00, 2.00, 3.00, 4.00, 5.00
Attention! On Monday and Tuesday there are also free entrance guided tours available at
4.15 p. m. and at 5.15 p.m.
MONDAY AND TUESDAY FOR ORGANISED GROUPS
On Monday and Tuesday from 10.15 a.m. to 3.15 p.m. the Pavilion is open for junior high and secondary schools for museum lessons dedicated to Parisian "Kultura" circle, where Jozef Czapski had his special place and played a significant role. Demonstrational lessons will last one hour. They will be led by trained animators from Education Department in National Museum in Krakow. At the end each participant will receive free guide to the Pavilion, prepared for adolescents.

In afternoon at 4.15 and 5.15 p.m. individual guests could take part in guided tours. If at 3.15 p.m. there will not be a reservation for any of school group, guided tours will be available as well.
