Meeting with the author of the first volume of the Corpus of Feliks Jasieński's Donation
You are kindly invited to the promotion of the first volume of the monumental publication titled "The Corpus of Feliks Jasieński's Donation". During the meeting with its author, Agnieszka Kluczewska-Wójcik, the visitors will be able to purchase the catalogue for a special price of 85 pln. The event will be moderated by Marta Bosak.
Agnieszka Kluczewska-Wójcik - a graduate of Ecole du Louvre in Paris, where she studied museology. Received her Ph. D. at Université Paris I Panthèon-Sorbonne. From 2000 to 2014, a lecturer at the Faculty of History of Art and Culture at the Nicolaus Copernicus University . Member of the Executive Board of the Polish Institute of World Art Studies, editor of the series Conferences of Polish Institute of World Art Studies. Author of critical texts in the field of contemporary art (e.g. for 'Artluk magazine') and publications dedicated to the history of collecting, 'Japonisme and intercultural relations' (i.e. ed.: 'Nowoczesność kolekcji/ Modernity of Collection', Toruń, 2010, 'Art of Japan, Japanisms and Polish-Japanese Art Relations', Toruń, 2012, Korea. 'Art and Artistic Relations with Europe', Toruń, 2014).
The order of the Corpus volumes was dictated by the need for a fresh look at the achievements of Jasieński's activity as a collector, and an emphasis on the diversity, but at the same time the internal cohesion of his collections.
