In the collection of the Cabinet of Prints and Drawings of the Princes Czartoryski Museum, there is a small watercolour by Teofil Kwiatkowski (1809-1891), a painter associated with the Hôtel Lambert émigré circle, reminiscent of charity balls organised by the Czartoryskis and concerts that Fryderyk Chopin gave at their Parisian seat, famous for, among others, improvisations on the historical songs of the poet - emigrant, Julian Ursyn Niemcewicz. Dramatis personae of the patriotic spectacle painted by Kwiatkowski are the Czartoryski princes: Adam Jerzy, Iza and Jan Działyński, Władysław and his wife Maria Amparo, Anna née Sapieha, Maria née Grocholski. Their likenesses, everyday objects, costumes and furniture, preserved to this day, can be seen in the Monastery of the Princes Czartoryski Museum next to Kwiatkowski's watercolour, which was the inspiration for the musical show of the same title.

Ball at Hôtel Lambert - a ballet and pantomime performance performed by dancers of the Cracovia Danza Court Ballet illustrates a ball in Parisian salons in the first half of the 19th century and refers to Teofil Kwiatkowski's watercolour Ball at Hôtel Lambert in Paris - Chopin's Polonaise.

At a gala ball organised by the Polish émigré community in Paris, guests enjoy themselves to music from the first half of the 19th century. Among the European salon dances there is no lack of Polish accents – especially various forms of mazurkas and Cracovienne. The dancing madness is interrupted by the appearance of figures - apparitions in historical costumes.
