A special guest at the NMK
On Saturday, July 25, the Gallery "Arms and Uniforms in Poland" in the Main Building of the National Museum in Krakow served as a TV studio for a special edition of a programme titled Tematy Dnia (Topics of the day) recorded by TVP Krakow, featuring the president-elect Andrzej Duda.
The interview was conducted by Iwona Sitnik-Kornecka and will be aired by the TVP Krakow on Wednesday, July 29, at 6.30 pm.
After the interview, the president-elect visited the museum in the company of Olga Jaros – the representative of the NMK Director for Exhibitions, Publishing and Promotion. The display titled Polish Legions 1914-1918 was presented by curator Piotr Wilkosz, and the exhibition Ottomania. The Ottoman Orient in Renaissance Art – by its curator Michał Dziewulski.
Towards the end of the visit, Andrzej Duda signed the visitors' book for the exhibition "Ottomania. The Ottoman Orient in Renaissance Art".
