A surprise for SBB fans was the appearance of Jerzy Piotrowski in the Kombi line-up, with whom the drummer had collaborated on two albums. The third album, Nowy Rozdział [New Chapter], recorded in 1983 and released the following year, was a breakthrough for Kombi, mainly due to its intensely electronic sound. It became the group’s biggest commercial success. Jerzy Piotrowski, who replaced Jerzy Pluta, played the electronic drums.
