Establishment of the Main School Grounded in the Transfer to Kraków. A.D. 1361-1399-1400
The foundation of the main school in Kraków, made by Casimir t.G., was upheld and endowed by Queen Jadwiga with legacies left in her will, and placed in the hands of the Queen's Chancellor, Piotr Wysz of Rogalin, Bishop of Kraków, and Jasiek of Tęczyn, Voivode.
By moving the school from Kazimierz to Kraków, Jagiełło inaugurated the University of Kraków, which retained its name and title as the Jagiellonian testator.
Facing the coats of arms, the Piast coat of arms and the Lithuanian-Ruthenian-Polish coats of arms united under the Jagiellonians, two others below - the University coat of arms and the Rector's coat of arms.
