Detailed description: The NOSPR building is a wide, rectangular block of considerable size. The facade is made of red brick. The facade is divided by vertical narrow strips. They are regularly spaced and act as windows. On the roof of the building is a convex square block. It is much smaller and lower than the rest of the structure. The block is made of dark material, which creates a contrast between the red brick. Its surface consists of large rectangular tiles. In front of the building stretches a well-kept lawn. It is intersected by gently curving light paths. The area is complemented by individual trees, benches and a fountain.
The NOSPR headquarters, designed by Tomasz Konior, reflects the ambition of Katowice, which in recent years has undergone a transformation from an industrial city to a dynamic cultural center. The building draws on the tradition of brick industrial architecture characteristic of Silesia.
The NOSPR combines elements of modern design with excellent acoustic solutions. The concert hall, with a capacity of about 1,800 spectators, is world-renowned for its perfect acoustics, which enables the reception of music in the highest quality.
The building is located in the Culture Zone, a renovated part of Katowice that also includes the Silesian Museum and the International Congress Center. The NOSPR has become a symbol of the region's cultural revival and a meeting place for music lovers from all over the world. The building has inspired as a space where tradition meets modernity and art meets local heritage.
