Detailed description: the composition consists of an arrangement of letters formed in the shape of a cross. It consists of one word “center”. The word is repeated, written vertically and horizontally. At the intersection, in the very center, there is a blank space. The letters are arranged around this void, forming a symmetrical and orderly arrangement. A simple black font was used, with equal spacing between letters. The overall design is simple and minimalist.
The middle is one of the most important examples of concrete poetry in the work of Stanislaw Dróżdż, a prominent Polish artist associated with the conceptual movement. Concrete poetry is an art form in which the meaning of expression, its shape and spatial arrangement are as important as the verbal content.
