Two new volumes of scholarly journals published by the National Museum in Kraków have been released: “Proceedings of the National Museum in Kraków. New Series,” Vol. XIII (2024), and “Notae Numismaticae/Numismatic Notes,” Vol. XIX (2024).
“Proceedings of the National Museum in Kraków. New Series” is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that has been published since 1999, serving as a continuation of Proceedings and Reports of the National Museum in Kraków, published between 1952 and 1980.
The annual volume features articles, announcements, and reviews by researchers from Poland and abroad. The subject matter primarily covers the collections of the National Museum in Kraków, as well as topics in the fields of art history, art conservation, museology, and history and auxiliary sciences.
Volume XIX of “Notae Numismaticae/Numismatic Notes” (2024)—Poland’s leading scholarly journal dedicated to numismatics—has also been published.
Both publications are an important part of the National Museum in Kraków’s scholarly activities, supporting the development of research on art, culture, museology, and numismatic heritage, and disseminating the findings of Polish and international scholars.
