MNK Czapscy
On 11 August 2026, a ceremony to mark Conservator’s Day was held in the gardens of the MNK Czapski, attended by representatives of the authorities and local government: Bożena Żelazowska (Chief Conservator of Monuments), Jacek Rulewicz (Executive Board of the Association of Monument Conservators) and Elżbieta Achinger (First Deputy Governor of the Małopolska Voivodeship). MNK staff were presented with the following honours: ‘For Merit to Polish Culture’ and ‘For the Care of Monuments’.
The ‘For Merit to Polish Culture’ and ‘For the Care of Historic Monuments’ awards were presented to Elżbieta Zygier, Dr Dominika Sarkowicz, Anna Kłosowska-Klechowska, Dr Monika Tarnowska-Reszczyńska, Katarzyna Skowron, Magdalena Dorębska, Dominik Dziadusz, Maria Labut and Paweł Piechnik from the conservation workshops of the National Museum in Kraków.
