Events accompanying temporary exhibitions at the NMK include workshops for children. The workshops are conducted in Polish.
Do people need art? How can we use it? What does it teach us? A series of weekend workshops for children aged 10 to 13.
Weekend workshops for families with children aged 4 to 7, which take place in several branches of the National Museum in Krakow. The participants have the opportunity to discover the secrets of museum galleries while learning and playing.
A series of meetings for children and their parents, conducted in a theatrical convention. The basic art form here is a story, based on a tale, which is directly inspired by selected examples of decorative arts, textiles, jewellery and weapons from the collections of the Museum.

Museum beginners and their carers are invited to take part in workshops at which we will experiment to learn about art. Young beginners should not be afraid of spilling paint or getting it on their hands. The fledgling art lovers will learn by play.
We would like to invite you for an independent family visit to the Gallery 'Arms and Uniforms in Poland' in the Main Building of the National Museum in Krakow, where you can follow a specially prepared route.
Join us for a tour of the Museum’s galleries at the Jan Matejko House and Sukiennice. Admission is free for adults with children aged 5 to 8.
