We invite you to a special concert dedicated to the memory of those associated with the establishment and work of the MNK Czartoryski Museum. Two 18th-century musical works will be performed in the Museum’s historic interiors – Niccolò Jommelli’s Requiem and Giuseppe Sammartini’s Concerto Op. 2 No. 3.
The concert will not only be an encounter with superb music, but also a moment of remembrance and reflection on those who, over the years, have helped shape the Museum, its collection and its activities. The title of the event – ‘Non omnis moriar’ (‘I shall not die entirely’) – refers to Horace’s reflection on the enduring nature of memory and the legacy a person leaves behind.
Before the concert, an introductory address will be given by Dr Katarzyna Płonka-Bałus.
