In Wilhelm Sasnal’s painting Crawl in Black, the right arm of a swimmer, visible up to the shoulder, protrudes from the water. Dark trickles of water flow from the hand. The background and water are grey-blue.

The purchase of the painting for the MNK collection was subsidised by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage from the Cultural Promotion Fund.
