You can use the same channels to request information that is currently inaccessible or to file complaints regarding a lack of accessibility.
Everyone has the right to request that a website, mobile app, or a specific element thereof be made digitally accessible. You may also request that information be provided in an alternative format, such as having a digitally inaccessible document read aloud, describing the content of a video without audio description, etc.
The request should include the requester’s contact information, the website or mobile app in question, and the preferred method of contact. In the case of a request for information in an alternative format, the desired format must be specified. The Museum should fulfill the request immediately, no later than within 7 days. If meeting this deadline is not possible, the Museum will immediately inform the requester when the request can be fulfilled, provided that this period does not exceed 2 months from the date the request was made. If ensuring accessibility is not possible, the Museum may propose an alternative method of accessing the information.
If the Museum refuses to fulfill the request for accessibility or alternative access to information, a complaint may be filed against such action.
After exhausting all other options, a complaint may also be submitted to the Ombudsman https://www.rpo.gov.pl/content/jak-zglosic-sie-do-rzecznika-praw-obywatelskich.
