
The Metal and Weapons Conservation Workshop is one of the oldest conservation workshops at the National Museum in Kraków – it has been in existence since 1906. It carries out comprehensive restoration of metal artefacts, including their reconstruction. The workshop specialises in the conservation of objects made from mixed materials, such as military artefacts and decorative art.
In their work, the conservators combine traditional manufacturing techniques with the latest technology, which is made possible by the equipment that has been steadily added to over the years.
