From 27 to 30 August 2026, the MNK Czartoryski Museum in Kraków will once again become a venue for chamber music of the highest calibre. Four concert evenings will bring together outstanding artists and young musicians who are among the most intriguing figures of their generation.
The programme for this year’s edition takes the audience on a journey through nearly three centuries of musical history – from Mozart, Bach and Dvořák, through Chopin, Wieniawski and Szymanowski, to Ravel, Rebecca Clarke and Kelly-Marie Murphy. Polish music occupies a special place, presented both in its canonical works and in pieces that are less frequently performed, rediscovered by contemporary artists.
The festival’s finale will feature cellist Błażej Goliński, who, together with pianist Michał Mossakowski, will present a programme devoted to Polish chamber music, including works by Józef Wieniawski and Szymon Laks, as well as original arrangements of songs.

Błażej Goliński graduated with honours from the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he studied under Prof. Roman Suchecki. He honed his skills during masterclasses led by eminent cellists, including Misha Maisky, Ivan Monighetti, Victoria Yagling, Angelika May and Roman Jabłoński.
He maintains a busy concert schedule as both a soloist and a chamber musician. He has performed at the Witold Lutosławski Forum at the National Philharmonic, the Gdańsk Chamber Music Festival, and numerous prestigious festivals in Poland and abroad. He has collaborated with outstanding musicians, including Jan Stanienda, Mirel Jankovic, Robert Kabara and Marek Toporowski.
Between 2001 and 2005, he was concertmaster of the cello section of Sinfonietta Cracovia, with whom he performed at major European and American festivals. Since 2004, he has been associated with the Fryderyk Chopin Polish Baltic Philharmonic in Gdańsk, where he has served as concertmaster of the cello section since 2009. He is also an assistant professor at the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk.
Polish music holds a special place in his career. He has made numerous recordings, including world premiere recordings of works by Józef Wieniawski, Emanuel Kani, Szymon Laks and Jerzy Gablenz, thereby contributing to the popularisation of Polish cello repertoire.
Michał Mossakowski – piano
A pianist, organist and Doctor of Musical Arts, he is one of the most intriguing Polish artists of the younger generation. He is a graduate of the Paris Conservatoire and the Stanisław Moniuszko Academy of Music in Gdańsk, where he has also been teaching since 2015.
He maintains a busy concert schedule as both a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed in most European countries, as well as in China and the United States. In 2019, he made his debut at the Gewandhaus in Leipzig, performing Robert Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, and in Paris, performing Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major. He has also given recitals at venues including the Mozarteum in Salzburg and Carnegie Hall in New York, collaborating with numerous orchestras and distinguished conductors.
He is a laureate of numerous national and international piano competitions, having won prizes in Malmö, Warsaw, Salzburg, New York, Hartford, Mariánské Lázně, Livorno and Paris, amongst others. For his artistic achievements, he has received scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education, the Rector of the Gdańsk Academy of Music, the Mayor of Gdańsk, and the marshals of the Pomeranian and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeships.
