We invite you to a special concert dedicated to the memory of those associated with the founding and work of the MNK Czartoryski Museum. The historic interiors of the Museum will resound with Niccolò Jommelli’s Requiem – a work by the 18th-century Italian composer, whose music combines profound expression with extraordinary elegance of sound.
The concert will not only be an encounter with superb music, but also a moment of remembrance and reflection on those who, over the years, have helped shape the Museum, its collection and its activities. The title of the event – ‘Non omnis moriar’ (‘I shall not die entirely’) – refers to Horace’s reflection on the enduring nature of memory and the legacy a person leaves behind.
Before the concert, an introductory address will be given by Dr Katarzyna Płonka-Bałus.
