What will happen after the Spektrum Project?

What will happen after the Spektrum Project?

We are delighted to share the news of the final evaluation of the Spektrum project! The Erasmus+ Program grant settlement report received an excellent rating, with an overall score of 90 points. The implemented activities were revived as consistent with the priorities of the Program. The National Agency for the Program - the Foundation for the Development of the Education System summarized that they are of great value for people with autism spectrum disorder and their families and all visitors of culture.
The activities undertaken were in line with the priorities of inclusion and diversity, very important in the surrounding world. The created tools can serve any person and his organization. Changes introduced by the National Museum in Kraków are increasingly being implemented in other cultural institutions as well. Among them are solutions like quiet hours, quiet rooms, or sensory baskets.

Fourteen institutions and organizations in all partner countries participated in the project. The exchange of experiences within the project was unique due to the diverse competencies and knowledge of the various participants in our meetings. Despite a difficult start, during the COVID-19 pandemic, operations have not stopped, taking a hybrid and online form. With a lot of motivation, we were able to turn limitations into assets. We have developed tools that contribute to the leveling of barriers, useful in the practice of cultural institutions. This is evidenced by statistics, including the number of views and downloads of our materials.

The summary of the project closes with a note on its weaknesses: none identified:)
The project is available at the international database of good practices. Thank you!

Visit the project page on the Erasmus+ platform. We confidently confirm the value of the experience we have gained by obtaining a grant for our project! We also strongly encourage you to participate in the next call for proposals.

Finally, it's time to answer the title question: what will happen after the Spektrum Project? We do not stop here. We continue to develop our competence and are working on the Museum’s next venture. We strive to make the Museum's services available to as various groups as possible. More information on next projects soon. Stay tuned!
