The donor is known for his excavations in ancient Dodona and as a benefactor of several Polish museums and scientific institutions. The coins donated to the Jagiellonian University were published in 1976 by Stefan Skowronek, but without illustrations and with some inaccuracies. In this article, the coins has been re-identified and published with references to the relevant literature.
