The Karol Szymanowski Museum is at 19 Kasprusie Street in Zakopane, in a house that belonged to the composer himself. The concert room and the garden are available for hire.
CONCERT ROOM
The concert room at the Szymanowski Museum in Villa Atma in Zakopane is a dedicated space for chamber music concerts, meetings, talks and lectures for a maximum of 50 people. It is a room in the historic villa that in the years 1930-1935 was home to Karol Szymanowski, one of Poland’s foremost composers. The villa underwent thorough renovation in 2011-2013 and a state-of-the-art sound system was installed in the room used as a small concert hall. The cosy rooms of this wooden house form a superb backdrop for concerts, and there is a Schimmel concert piano (colour: Caucasian walnut) available on site. The concert room is also hung with 1930s portraits of Szymanowski by the artist Stanisław Ignacy Witkiewicz.

GARDEN
The garden of the Szymanowski Museum in the Villa Atma in Zakopane, close to the Młyniska mountain brook, is a quiet place in the heart of Zakopane (5 minutes from Krupówki Street, the main pedestrian thoroughfare). The Villa Atma garden has been restored in aqccordance with the original conception from the 1930s. Raised daises and/or marquees may be installed in the garden for open-air concerts or other cultural events. The building’s external illumination system may be incorporated into dramatic productions or other events.
